How do I code/structure chess abilities? In C++ [closed]

I'm coding a chess game with special abilities such as moving twice, resurrecting, taking a hit for another piece, and well, I'm not sure how to implement this ability system. My only idea so far was to make a class effects and switch with cases and somehow figure it out. What would be a good structure for this I have no idea I don't have experience. Any help I would love and appreciate lots.

I'd really like to know an appropriate way to do it
