Should I use C++ 17 over C++ 11?

I have been programming in Python from last 6 months, I'm learning C++ these days. I wanted to understand should I use C++ 17 over C++ 11. With python from 2.7x to 3.x few things are changed and I started with 2.7x soon started using 3.5 version. Main reason was every one else have started using the 3.x versions. C++ being an old language and many more libraries available in C++ 11. Should I not use C++ 17?
