Is there a way I can perform filing of gmp data types using c++ filing if/ofstream?

There is a function in gmp mpz_out_str() which takes a C FILE* object but can not accept if/ofstream objects of C++. How can I accomplish filing of mpz_t types using C++ if/ofstream?
