How to list all available properties for a libuvc device?

How do I list all available properties for a camera using libuvc? I'd like to do so using libuvc only (without using v4l2 or gstreamer) I tried to go through the source of uvcdynctrl but its just too complicated. A simple example to query available properties similar to the command 'uvcdynctrl -l' would be much appreciated.
