Asynchronous IOCTL Complete Example

I am working in driver development of Windows Registry monitoring. The Requirement is that whenever the registry access identified, I should send the registry accessed path(string) and notification from Kernel mode(driver) to the User Mode(My application). I should get the user Input to give access to the registry path (User input from User mode to Kernel mode). Please Kindly Prefer which method will be suitable. I am new the zone. If asynchronous IOCTL suitable then Kindly give some examples. So that i can able to refer and learn.
