how do I recognize the difference among c++98, c++11, c++14, c++17 etc.?

I am new to programming world. Now I am learning C++ and using Codeblocks 17.12. Whenever I stuck somewhere, I try to google it. Some codes work and some codes don't. Then I saw C++98, C++11, C++14 etc. But I am not sure what I am using in my CodeBlocks. So how do I recognize the difference? Never mind, it's my first post in stack overflow. If i did something wrong, please let me know also. I am learner.
