Is there a function for ordering Sets of Information

I am trying to sort a set of numbers (originally I used multiset) but wanting to keep extra information about each figure attached. Ie. I want to store in a vector 6 apples, 3 bananas, 4 pears but I want to keep the apples, pears etc. attached to the quantity even when it's sorted by value so when I select out the smallest quantities, I can extract what the quantity was of too. Any ideas?
