problems when packaing Deribit with websocketpp in C++?

I'm a graduate majored in MFE, and I'm also interested in C++.

Recently, my mentor asked me if I can package the Deribit Api in C++ since I've done this before with python. Then I found Websocketpp, but I think I have to spend lots of time in Websocketpp, boost.asio and C++ itself to have a better understand of them.

There is two ways for me. The first one is that I quickly learn how to use them to finish my task then study deeper to know why. The other one is that I learn it carefully(for example, read some source code), maybe it will take longer time. I learn C++ and networks for some time but I think I'm still a newbie, that's why I came here to raise a question.
