I like Visual C++ although Visual C++ IDE makes some changes to the C++ language itself for compatibility or as extensions(ex. _super keyword) where only the Visual C++ IDE would be able to pick up those extensions/code(if you were to put the same code elsewhere it won't work.
What I want to find is a modern IDE with intellisense like feature(possibly, not particular), good look, feel, very functional, highly performing, powerful (all like Visual studio) and most importantly total cross compatibility where if I were to take all the code that I typed up in that IDE and paste in any other IDE, it should run error free in the other IDE of C++.
If cross compatibility wasn't a concern I would have loved to use visual C++.
I don't know if any of such IDE even exist.. if yes, please name it.
Please Note:
The questions I'm asking here are posted only after doing adequate research, where no straight forward and clear answers could be found.
I'm not an expert in Visual Studio just yet, but continuously learning.
