Pointers in modern C++ (C++14/C++17?) [on hold]

I'm currently reading the Accelerated C++ book and I assume the way it deals with pointer is quite old. I've heard about a new syntax for pointers but can't find a reliable source.

Could you suggest me some articles that will explain me how to deal with pointers in modern C++ (assuming I have prior knowledge of pointers in C)
