Stack Overflow on running a legacy code C++ Builder 11

A code that was running perfectly on version 4 of the C++ Builder RAD is running into "Stack Overflow on version 11 !? and I am puzzled about how to circumvent the problem. is that possible to increase the stack size while I would be interested in understanding why this happened to begin with, in this new version of the compiler?
