QT - compress folder

I have a folder "myFolder" which I wish to compress with QT. I have manage to copy the folder and created a new folder "copy_myFolder". All files in "copy_MyFolder" are compressed. With this approach, one can obviously open "copy_myFolder" and move around files since it just a normal folder. It is also unclear that the files are compressed, at least until one open them.

Is it possible to create some kind of folder so that a user can not open the folder, or atleast make a user understand that the files are compressed.

On the following image http://ift.tt/1IfhKyF ,it is easy to see that sample.zip are commpressed since it ends with .zip. Can I create a dictionary with the name "copy_myFolder.MYCOMPRESS" for example?
