Visual Studio Code on Mac warning: 'override' keyword is a C++11 extension [-Wc++11-extensions]

I 've tried compiling/running the code on my mac, but it gave me a warning on Visual Studios.

'override' keyword is a C++11 extension [-Wc++11-extensions]

I've already tried doing the following:

File>>Preference>>Settings>>Extensions

find C_Cpp>Default:Cpp Standard drop down menu

set that to c++11

but it still doesn't work for. I don't know what to do next.
