C++ Get Bezier Curve / Points from TTF font on iOS and Android

How can one get the bezier curves of certain letters of a TTF font on iOS and Android using C++?

I've seen that it might be possible by using the FreeType library, though this seems to be quite complicated. Does anybody of a library / gist that can handle this?
